Loved how the buildings that are out of view created this shard of light that seems to cut through the city. This was originally done as a preliminary sketch for a much larger painting. On occasion, these sketches possess a compelling immediacy and energy that makes them attractive in their own right.
This was purchased as a gift to remind someone of their time working in the city of London.
