INTERIOR WATERCOLOUR PAINTINGS
I’m drawn to interiors where light, atmosphere and stillness create a particular moment – a quiet room, a familiar café or an architectural space transformed by the light. I’m interested in the way natural light moves across walls, floors and objects, turning everyday interiors into something reflective, intimate and quietly observed.
Working in watercolour enables subtle shifts in tone and transparency, allowing both structure and mood to emerge gradually on the page. Some paintings begin with observational sketches made on location, while others develop more freely in the studio, where composition and balance can be carefully refined.
